Historic Rooms at Nidd Hall Hotel

Romantics will be drawn to our Historic rooms, where we’ve recreated a golden age of decadence. It’s all about the grand gesture here. Or upgrade to a Historic suite where you can look forward to a feature bed as well as a lounge area and sofa and period features like original fireplaces and wooden beams. But the devil's in the detail as well. The décor is refined and top-end extras come courtesy of The Signature Experience.

Review

I. Stayed at Nidd Hall 11- 14 January, as a member of a group booking. The whole weekend was so chilled and relaxed, enhanced by taking advantage of the spa facillities, and pool, the hotel provided towels for use in the pool. The room was large and spacious, and housekeeping was Carried out daily. The meals were lovely with great choices. There were plenty of waiting staff to lend a hand, were all very polite and professional. The hotel Put on a range of entertainment throughout the day and a range of tribute singers in the evening. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

The entertainment was excellent, the food was excellent, the hotel building and large garden area were excellent. The rooms were good and there were no issues with them. Suggest if you like it warm you take pullovers or cardigans with you as although bed rooms were adequately warm we found the corridors and some of the other public rooms cool albeit not cold. We enjoyed the archery and rife shooting and quizzes and the other day time entertainment items, however we were a little disappointed to find both the previously advertised wine tasting and water colour painting were both cancelled. My wife heard some other women had found the toilet flushes in the public areas a bit hard to push as they all had arthritis, something that will affect a number of Warner customers. My wife also found them slightly hard to work. That all said our party of four will have another Warner break next year and will probably come back to Nidd Hall again in the future.

Had a wonderful time at Nidd Hall. Very relaxed from the moment we arrived. Room 157 (Signature) had a lovely view of the lake but a long walk to the facilities (we were fine walking but older people may have a problem with the distance). Other people have mentioned they thought it was cold, however, we turned off the heating in our bedroom and had the window open all weekend. Food good. Staff excellent especially Andrea (Bar) Angelo (Waiter) Tim (bar cocktail demo) and Richard (Entertainment team). Planning on a return trip hopefully
