This was our first time at a warners hotel, we chose this as its adults only. We were not dissapointed. The rooms ( we had a historic room) was huge, the bed was comfy, we had everything you could ask for, we even had mugs instead of cups and saucers with fresh milk for a nice cuppa in the morning. The bathroom was very spacious with clean towels every day and even towels for you when you have a dip in the swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner times, you could not fault the food and the variety of choices you get. The staff are all very friendly and there to help with any of your needs. Entertainment was varied with your table waiting for you, so you don't need to rush your dinner to grab a seat. Some evenings there is a disco, we found every one had left by this time and we were left with the dance floor to ourselves. We were told we were the youngsters. (My husband and I being in our early 50's). All in all we had a lovely stay and are looking to try other Warner breaks.
One of the best afternoon teas hands down. The food was really good and the surrounding was breathtaking. We stayed inside as it was cold and with a chance of rain but I can imagine it would be an even more unforgettable experience if you had to have the afternoon tea outside in the gardens. The service was excellent and the staff couldn’t do more for us even if they wanted. We went with my in laws and they loved it. After the afternoon tea we all went around the stunning gardens, and what a treat that was. At each corner you find a lovely unexpected surprise, all made from recycled material like bowling, animals, swings...there’s even a sand pit with a volleyball net, croquet, table tennis, tennis, secret gardens and waterfalls. All can be enjoyed as part of the experience. A truly stunning place and cannot wait to go again. This is an adults only place though, so no children allowed.
